The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education and follows the curriculum guidelines laid by NCERT. The Academic Programme develops thinking and creative skills, promotes rational thought and provides intellectual stimulation. Value education does not form a separate subject of the curriculum but is interwoven into the entire fabric of school curriculum. In our endeavour to blossom the personalities of the students on virtue of truthfulness, sincerity and selflessness special stress is laid on Vedic Education.

The academic year is divided into three terms-March to August, September to November, December to March. Each term comprises of a cycle of a unit test and a terminal examination. Due weight age is given to internal assessment and project work. Students are promoted on the basis of their cumulative performance in the academic year. Continuous and comprehensive Evaluation system is followed till Class V. No formal testing is done till Class III.

The School appreciates the achievements of the young excelsiors and motivates them by felicitating and honouring them for their meritourious performance. The D.A.V Management and the school awards certificates of excellence, awards and scholarships to the outstanding students. Scholarship exams are conducted for clas VI to XII. Freeship is awarded to the students who clear NTSE examination
