The tiny sapling of Veda Vyasa D.A.V Public School was planted on 7th February 1982 with 400 leaves on its delicate branch. The tender plant under the supervision of luminaries of D.A.V management, nourished by the incessant efforts of the dynamic Principal Ms. Chitra Nakra and her team of devoted teachers is now a resplendent tree.

The education in the school is an amalgamation of ancient vedic values and contemporary scientific temperament. along with the intellectual development the traditional Indian values are promoted with due emphasis on competence, creativity and inculcation of scientific outlook and aesthetic appreciation.

Today this temple of learning accommodates 4000 students. The ever escalating board results are a testimony of our hard work. The constant endeavour of Veda Vyasa D.A.V is to reach the acme of excellence and as we aim for the sky we strengthen our roots by replenishing them with hard work, determination and perseverance.
